Denver, CO—July 26, 2021—Today, the Business Intelligence Group named AdCellerant Organization of the Year in the 2021 Sales and Marketing Technology Awards program, also known as The Sammys. The Sammys honor organizations and products helping to solve the challenges organizations have connecting and collaborating with prospects and customers.
In addition to a shift to ensure partner success, 2020 and the pandemic brought to light the need to adjust and push several engineering projects, including addressing the need for modernization for the proposal tool, which is now in beta. Engineering, sales, and product professionals at AdCellerant are currently working on an application that encapsulates all aspects involved in launching a successful advertising campaign, including drafting a sales proposal, turning that into an insertion order, tracking campaign metrics. and analyzing ongoing performance. The Proposal Tool, which lives under AdCellerant’s UI.Marketing umbrella, integrates sales, order, and reporting processes in a single user interface.
And while Proposals 2.0, as it’s internally called, is fitted with bells and whistles, it ultimately serves to unify — and in the process, simplify — the multi-step process to selling, launching, and running a digital ad campaign. A lot of what is underneath this new proposal tool is completely microservice-driven; we wanted to build a good foundation by which we could start productizing the data that even our own internal apps sit on top of for external APIs.
When in a crisis, look for the helpers. The country was under stay-at-home orders, businesses were closed, offices shut down, and essential businesses were the only companies operating. The team started a multi-pronged approach to help salvage losses taken by small businesses and AdCellerant Partners. The team created a COVID Survival Guide, including 48 pieces of content across 16 categories, a webinar series focused marketing with social distancing as a centerpiece, and Phased Reopening playbooks that helped small businesses reopen in the face of ever-changing government guidelines. The team released its first guide on how to start navigating the Pandemic on March 12. Days later, the team moved to remote work for the first time in AdCellerant’s 7-year history. The team’s entire focus was on helping create sustainable business models that have social distancing as the centerpiece.
The team’s work allowed the company to keep everyone on the team, grow revenue, and save small businesses from going out of business.
“We are proud to reward and recognize AdCellerant for their innovation and dedication to helping both the organization using their technology and the ultimate consumer,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer, Business Intelligence Group. “It was clear to our judges that their efforts will improve how we all connect with the brands we love for years to come.”
